Just getting around to blogging about this, but I went to Vegas. . .and had a blast! It was one of those trips, that in classic me style, took a multitude of planning and time to pull off. . . work schedules, flights, caretakers for my Grandparents, etc, but the important thing is that we pulled it off!
Dad and Michelle and I flew out from St. Louis on January 2nd, they then flew back January 5th as Bryan was flying in. The two of us stayed through the 7th, so all in all, I think I was in Vegas for 5 days. We stayed at the Stratosphere and at Treasure Island, I would recommend either hotel.
Here are a few highlights from our trip:
This first one may not a be a super-terrific memory, but a memory nonetheless! I have a habit of being able to sleep anywhere, cars, planes, buses, office floors (yes!), you name it. So, I had been up all night driving to St. Louis, and on and off planes, so I was napping after breakfast when my smart ass Father (who I love!!!) left this note, and took this picture of me!

The note read "Dear Michael, you were sleeping so soundly that Michelle and I decided to head to the gate without you. However, we did leave you a trail of torn-up napkins to let you find us." Love, Dad and Michelle.

Treasure Island, one of our hotels, I would highly reccomend it!

Composed salads at the Wynn Buffet, I highly reccomend lunch or dinner there.

The atrium at the Wynn.

At Hoover Dam.

At the Grand Canyon.

Vegas at night on the strip.

I love this picture; the Ventian Hotel.

Can we say classic pic.

One of the best shows ever, I would highly reccomend the Beatles!

Together in "Paris."

On the streets with Bert and Ernie!

Finally, a good picture to end on. . .Freemont Street, the Old Vegas!
